Positive Peer Pressure...

Conversation with Big P on the drive home from school...

Mommy, Noah makes his own lunch for school. When we get home can I make my own lunch, too?

Uhm, sure. The whole lunch?

Yes, the whole lunch. You just cut the crust off the bread, I will do the rest.

Ok then.

And he did... make his whole lunch. And I cut off the crust of his bread (he has helped me in the past, this time he did it all).

I love it - pavel and maria make their own lunches too (well maria's is just a snack, but she packs enough for a whole lunch!)

Awesome!

Now, he has to pass on that peer pressure to my "Big M"! Of course, the catch is that peanut butter and banana sandwiches do not keep well overnight, which is why I have to make them in the morning. Perhaps this would inspire him to be more enthusiastic about getting out of bed!

Sometimes it just takes a friend to show/tell you how to do something- I probably would have had to grovel to get him to make his whole lunch:) I am thankful that he has good friends.
